» The first Roman Republic was founded in 509 BC, setting in motion the dogma of democracy, the linguistic nightmare of Latin and one of the largest empires the world has ever seen. Meanwhile, relative peace at home enabled the infrastructure of civilisation to spread - roads, aqueducts, cites.

A slave-driven lifestyle and economy triumphed over the concept of people power, and the reins of the Republic were increasingly in the hands of the military and, ultimately, dictators. |
» Italy derives its name from the Italic tribes, which began to drive the original Neolithic stock from the peninsula as early as 1200 B.C. These tribes, which included the Veneti, Picenes, Sabines, Umbrians, and Latins, are considered to have been a branch of the Indo-European peoples that over a period of twenty centuries had made their way westward from Central Asia. Of course much has changed since then and the nation of Italy is a thriving country proud of its heritage. Italy is a place that you would be proud to display your Italian genealogy, family coat of arms or surname history.
» Italy for a tourists can be most exciting and rewarding experiences. They not only learned a lot about Italian culture, religion and history, but also learned a lot about heritage. whether they are visiting a cathedral like the Duomo, St. Mark's, St. Peter's Basillica, or St. Francis's cathedral; visiting museums like the Uffizi, Bargello Gallery, or the Accademia; exploring many sites, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Romeo and Juliette's house, the Colleusum, Ancient Roman ruins, or climbing to the top of all bell towers and domes.
